COMMISSION

We offer some of the best commission and procuration fees you're likely to find in the marketplace. With access to Legal & Generals award winning mortgage club, amongst others, procuration fees can be paid on exchange.

We are established with all major lending panels, including those that no longer accept new registrations. We have particularly good relationships with some of the private banks. Lenders and providers see us as stable and secure.

COMPLIANCE

We have a friendly, supportive and dedicated compliance team. Our aim is for compliance to be sensible and fair, whilst being robust enough to afford protection to our advisers in what can be difficult market condition.

Our compliance team are happy to provide one to one training to meet the individual needs of advisers, ensuring they are up to date and fully informed of network requirements. 

SUPPORT

Our Heads of Network are far from sitting in an ivory tower. They still advise to ensure they are fully aware of the issues and challenges advisers face on a day to day business. The directors of JLM pride themselves on knowing each member by name, and unlike other networks encourage sharing of ideas between members to increase business. 

We'll assist with placement of cases via our in-house mortgage desk run by the members of the network. We like to celebrate the success of our members, and the JLM social events are legendary within the industry!

In January 2018 JLM became the first network in the UK to launch a robo mortgage advice proposition providing its advisers and firms with a unique tool to allow them to engage with customers. The Virtual Adviser service – which can be accessed via www.jlmmortgages.co.uk Clients can review their borrowing potential by looking at what products they may be eligible for; any time of the day, any day of the week. Our advisers follow up enquiries with clients to verify eligibility, making a tailored recommendation to maintain exceptional level of customer care. Virtual Adviser offers a white labelling opportunity for AR Firms wishing to embrace new technology, enhance their service position further and benefit from additional business generated through this platform. 

We offer access to your preferred whole of market sourcing software. Trigold Crystal, currently the mortgage sourcing system of choice, is the UK's leading provider of mortgage sourcing and application systems for the intermediary market. We also offer Mortgage Brain to those who prefer this system and we've recently started to use Twenty7Tec - we are here to help, not to hinder.

You'll get access to a dedicated mortgage CRM system, which allows you to process and write business, store information and manage your client relationships. It is easy to use and has lots of functionality. Including powerful workflow capabilities and customer management facilities. More importantly it's yours to keep should you wish to move on, although we doubt you'll want to! 

Tech Tomorrow

Virtual Adviser will expand further to become an online portal for mortgage applications, JLM plan to recruit more advisers in order to service the increase in anticipated business generated by Virtual Adviser.

Bridging Finance and Secured Loan Referrals

An increasingly popular area, given tighter lending criteria and some very low SVR and life time tracker rates, we have several tried and tested brokers to whom you can refer and receive a good income in return.

IFA referrals in-house

So no need to worry about an IFA’s poor service tarnishing your reputation with your client, or your protection policies being cancelled, plus a good fee share being payable.

Will referrals

Most brokers suggest a client reviews their will; we are able to offer a very low cost service to ensure that this is done and our client is properly looked after, with a generous referral fee payable.

Conveyancing referrals

Unlike most firms who simply refer to impersonal ‘conveyancing factories’, we have good local relationships and are keen to cultivate more, as well as having access to the consolidators, for those clients who simply want the cheapest cost available. Again, a referral fee will be payable.

Support and Leads

One of the greatest concerns that a new advisor has is where clients will come from. Whilst we do not guarantee a steady supply of leads, we are able to access leads from and form and support new relationships with:
